Join Greece’s top yoga teachers at the world’s most photogenic island for a yoga retreat like no other - Anna Zorzou & Vula Bolou in Santorini!
June 2017 marks the beginning of a longtime dream come true - to hold retreats at a specialised venue, at an ancient, spiritually fortified place with a truly compatible and mutually enriching partner. Every aspect of this adventure has been carefully thought out and selected with only one thing in mind - to create a wholesome experience for all involved.
The venue is a super exclusive hotspot - a brand new retreat centre called Inner Temple. Inner Temple is located on Santorini’s southern side, amidst sand dunes and spectacular rock formations just minutes walk from Eros beach. Minimalist rooms or traditional caves will accommodate us, a purpose-built, fully equipped outdoor studio will house our yoga practice and healthy, nutritious meals will sustain and nourish us. Anna and Vula will lead a holistic yet challenging weeklong yoga program with their extensive teaching experience and lifelong personal practice to guide them. The rest of the time, participants may take full advantage of the astounding beauty of nearby nature and the volcanic sand beach, head north to discover the caldera or allow the hostesses to organise specialised tours - from horseback riding, canoeing, trekking, nearby islet-hopping or simply letting the sublime atmosphere of this truly magical place sink in. We guarantee you that one week is not enough!
Week 1 : Saturday 10 June - Saturday 17 June 2017
Week 2 : Saturday 17 June - Saturday 24 June 2017
Arrival on Saturday and settling in. There is a welcome dinner in the evening. Classes begin on Sunday morning and continue until Tuesday. There is no class on Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday morning to allow for some free time to do as you please - either party hard (just joking!), meditate all day in silence or simply lie on the beach with your book. Anna and Vula have decided from the numerous retreats they have hosted for the last 20 years that it is absolutely essential that participants take some time to themselves. We recommence on Wednesday afternoon until Friday. The workshop will formally end with a goodbye dinner - we might also do a little Greek dancing! Participants will depart on Saturday - or not! All are welcome to stay for the second week.

Santorini island was a sophisticated outpost of the Minoan civilisation between as early as 3000BC and around 1600BC when the volcano in the centre of the island erupted, leaving behind just a caldera, about 10km in diameter. This otherworldly spectacle is what greets the visitors as the ferry approaches. Despite the magnetising allure of the caldera as it stands today, the island has a million other things to offer, from its multicoloured beaches (black, white and red), a plethora of gastronomic delights as well as traditional villages and world-class shopping. Lets put it this way - you will not be bored here!
